Tiger

You are my danger
You have my soul
You could destroy it
And take it whole

So alone but why
I sit here and wait
Wanting you is suicide
Needing you is fate

Not every stripe shows
You erase what was once there
Doesn't seem to bother you
Doesn't seem you care

What should I be thinking of
Your long searching stare
What did they think of me
Those eyes worse for wear

If I find you again
What is there dear
What is the reason
I hurt, I fear

I need you lonely tiger
I need you to stay
Choose what you want
Tiger go, run away.

Make Me

If you can’t take me
Why don’t you make me
I don’t see why not
Or what I’m doing wrong

If you don’t like my ways
You never do these days
Why don’t you make my life
Gamble and throw the dice

You think my thoughts are blind
I can make my own mind
If that’s not what you see
You may as well make me

How far have I flung
Why can’t some people hold their tongues
It’s me that’s now breaking
Because you’ve caught me in the making

Why don’t you take control
Put together my aching soul
Take me throw the cold
That’s warming ready to scold

It doesn’t work like that though
But you grab every opportunity
But why don’t you know
That you can never make me.

Our Summer

Our summer was beautiful
Our summer was true
Spent in love and dreaming
Under the sky so blue

The flowers turned to fruit
They blossomed above
Grew into something special
Just like with us

The sun burnt our minds
But put fire in our hearts
Like I’m lost in a maze
Yet I know where to start

All thoughts are benign
In the haze of the heat
Don’t need to know the time
Lying in the grass bare feet

And when our summers over
We can still be friends
Only in this season
We’ll love till the end

And when summer comes back
It’s time to show what we feel
Because it’s the only time
Our love can be real.
