Neon Region

It used to be built on dreams
Now thats hard to believe in
Do we know what life means
In the flashing neon region

Where no street is the same
You know nobody elses name
Money is just a game
The casinos don't feel the strain

Shining lights and spotlights
Whatever time it may be
Gamblers don't know about the age of austerity
When will their greed cease

Foundations cemented with wealth and glamour
Pleases those who need a break
Added alcohol fuels the night
That you won't remember when you wake

Where has all the love gone
In this city torn apart
The people lost to work and party
When did Las Vegas lose its heart

Destroying a modern gem
The truth hurts with reason
Especially when it's falling around you
The death of a neon region.

Heart And Mind

Another atom made to recreate
The genetic works of love and fate
Impurities burn like hate
To change now its far too late

Elements of your heart
Beat in rhythm like electric
Diffusing they blow apart
Destroyed by their own kinetic

The very science of yourself
Is running out of time
You don't know how to find
The reasons of heart and mind

They shouldn't be brought together
Not meant to think the same
It could crumble you forever
Mixed they're a dangerous game

Your understanding of love
Is built into an equation
And it can't be solved
Without blurring hearts creation

A stranger to the world
With two different thoughts combined
Your confused and your hurt
In your own heart and mind

You're The Collision

The collision is coming
The skys have turned red
Theres a lot to prepare
While the crash is ahead

The collision is moving
Towards me its shifting
Don't know when it hits
But somewhere its drifting

The collision is speeding
In all its fiery glory
but I'm its landing pad
and the landing will be gory

The collision is plotting
Making its own master plan
Thinking how to bring me down
In every way it can

The collision is near
Its target locked and in sight
Its shooting down fast
Rushing through the daylight

The collision has hit
And the impact was great
The sirens are flashing
So don't call me your mate

You were the collision
You were all along
So many things were right
But so many things were wrong.
